At Activités De Plein Air, we’re committed to providing high-quality mountaineering, bushcraft, and camping equipment for your outdoor adventures. Our shipping and returns policies are designed to be transparent and customer-friendly.

Shipping Information

Order Processing Time

We process all orders within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after payment confirmation.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We offer two shipping options to meet your needs:

Note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and customs processing. We currently ship worldwide except to certain remote areas and parts of Asia.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your order, you may return or exchange it within 15 days of receiving your package.

Return Conditions

• Items must be in their original condition: unused, with all tags attached and original packaging intact
• Custom or made-to-order items cannot be returned
• For hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned (see below)

Return Process (4 Simple Steps)

Step 1: Submit a Return Request

Email us at [email protected] with the following information:

• Subject: Return/Exchange Request – [Order Number]
• Message Body:
  • Your name and contact information
  • Order number
  • Product details (name, reference number, quantity)
  • Reason for return
  • For exchanges: details of the new product you want

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Our team will email you within 2 business days with:

• Return authorization (RMA number)
• Shipping instructions
• Return label (if applicable)

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Carefully package the item(s) with:

• Original packaging
• Delivery note or invoice
• RMA number clearly visible on the package

Step 4: Return Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 3-5 business days), we’ll email you about:

• Refund status
• Or shipment of your exchange item

Refunds

• Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
• Timing: 5-10 business days after we receive and approve your return
• Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Exchanges

• We’ll ship your new item as soon as the return is authorized (you don’t need to wait for us to receive your return)
• You’ll be responsible for shipping costs on the new item unless the exchange is due to our error

International Returns

For customers outside the EU:

• Import duties and taxes are non-refundable
• Mark the package as « RETOUR DE MARCHANDISE » (RETURNED GOODS) to avoid additional customs charges
